Make a sanctuary policy

Kim Tran, co-founder of the business consultancy firm Desai Tran, writes on LinkedIn:

— Remind folks about your sanctuary policy. (If you don’t have one, get one. Now.)
— Host a Know Your Rights Training with a trusted facilitator and make sure it's intersectional. Women, LGBTQ, and Black folks are often the most vulnerable.
— Put up visible signage about workplace protections against ICE incursions. Signage should include identifying a real warrant versus a fake one, and the tricks ICE might use to get into the building.
— Invite folks to talk to you privately if they have questions about policies or protocols. Set up an anonymous way to do so.
