The Do No Harm Act should be approved in the House
It restores a better meaning of religious liberty

We need U.S. Representatives to support the Do No Harm Act (read a fact-sheet PDF).
In 1993, Congress passed the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA) to prohibit the government from interfering with one’s practice of religion. This was intended to protect religious freedom, especially that of religious minorities. However, instead of being the shield that we hoped for, RFFA has been used as a sword. RFFA has been misapplied in the courts and abused by the current President. The Do No Harm Act would restore the intention of RFFA as a shield that protects religious liberty without infringing on civil rights, access to health care and government services, and worker protections.

- Read the text of the bill (PDF) if you'd like.
- Look up your representatives' contact information. They usually have contact forms on their websites for those who prefer to write, or you may call their office and leave a message with a staffer.
- Ask them to vote YES on the Do No Harm Act. Just say it's meant to protect religious freedoms without using the concepts of religion and freedom as weapons.
