Federal employees: Journalists want to talk to you
Do contact them. Don't use your work device. Use secure messaging.

The following journalists recently posted to Bluesky saying they have Signal accounts (secure messaging) and are eager to talk to federal employees.
If you're a federal employee, you should use a personal device (not a work device) and a secure messaging app to contact a journalist. More info on secure messaging: Today, Matthew Haughey published "A guide to using Signal for government workers."
If you work at the Treasury Dept, I really want to talk to you. Anonymity will be granted. I’m marisakabas.04 on Signal.

I am writing about what is happening to federal personnel policy. One difficulty is that it's hard to observe and verify what is actually happening. I am particularly interested in information about the employment status of individuals working with/in DOGE. Anonymous tips welcome. Signal: Nbednar.46

If you are a federal employee or contractor who wants to disclose wrongdoing, you can find me on Signal. Please do not use a government device. Documents are especially welcome. We can discuss terms. My default is to not reveal your identity unless you tell me otherwise.
