This Wed, Feb 5, at 12:00–1:30 pm Eastern, the Boston Public Library will have an online workshop: "A Beginner’s Guide to News Literacy in the Age of AI."

"Using resources from the News Literacy Project, patrons will learn about the technology as well as how AI is changing and impacting the information landscape. We will also discuss the intersection of misinformation and AI and talk about ways patrons can identify and evaluate information that might be created by AI."

It's free and you don't need a library card, but space is limited and you have to register.

Collaborate to identify and get ahead of disinformation

It's about how people have worked together, being proactive in their communities, in the language their community speaks, to confront and get ahead of disinformation.
